Learners joined Vitaly on the picket line to fight for student, labor, and immigrant rights, as we demanded an end to random searches, immigrant rights, funding to meet learner needs, and so much more. Even the substitute teacher the district sent over refused to cross our picket line, joined in and took it to city hall with us.
